The team made two trips out to Coney Island in the middle of winter and had our talent walk around the desolate landscape in a bunny mascot costume.
The bunny costume was symbolic for the happy exterior the artist discusses in her lyrics - that which is ripped a part as we go along.
This was furthered in post by spending multiple days in the video studio perfecting a color correction that heightened its hopeless demeanor.
It works out at the end- the costume gets violently diced with a pair of scissors and we switch to a slower shutter speed for a warm and triumphant run down the beach.
