Things We Do Everyday is a documentary video work observing the mundane routines of a bustling printing studio in Shanghai, China. Specializing in fine art prints for artists and photographers, the studio becomes a stage where every movement, from the delicate sweep of ink to the rhythmic tapping of tools, is elevated into a quiet choreography of labor and craft. As the camera pans across the space, viewers are invited to witness the printing process with sustained, unhurried attention. The workers’ hands move with practiced precision, creating a visual rhythm that ebbs and flows like ocean waves.
