PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY 一 Pulsing Through is the culmination of a 3 month Curatorial Intensive bringing together 5 artists to curate a group exhibition. Working across painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, collage, and printmaking, the 18 artists in Pulsing Through cross the boundary between self and world, inner and outer, body and soul. Their works trace encounters with tender bodies and ghostly figures, moving between presence and absence, and revealing
memories that hover just beneath the surface.

Curatorial Intensive: From Concept to Exhibition, co-le d by Hayley Ferber and Lu Solano in partnership with Paradice Palase, provided a hands-on opportunity for artists to explore the practical and conceptual foundations of curating an exhibition. Designed to demystify the curatorial process, this program emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and creative vision—guiding participants from the initial idea to a fully realized gallery presentation.

About the Artist:
Ruichao is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher currently based in New York. Her artistic practice encompasses speculative design, installation, textile, and painting. She holds a Bachelor of Agriculture in Landscape Architecture from Southwest University in China and a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work explores the impact of science and technology on cultural formation and identity construction. Themes in her practice include gender politics, biopolitics, popular culture, and sexuality. Her works have been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, Meisha Art Center (China), and beyond, with her self-published brochure Welcome to Male Pregnancy included in the collection of the Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

About All Street Gallery:
Founded in 2018, All Street Gallery is a gallery and platform for emerging and underrepresented artists whose work focuses on social engagement and community empowerment. Initially created as an artist collective and grassroots protest organization, All Street is driven by its roots in the city’s creative community. The gallery’s mission is to use art as a means of protest, resistance, and social change, highlighting voices that challenge the status quo. After opening its first location on East Third Street in the East Village, All Street expanded in 2023 with a second space at 119 Hester Street. Both locations continue to provide a platform for artists whose work addresses important social and political issues.
