abstract: 

a 6 page interactive zine about the appropriation of queerness in media. there is a concept in software engineering called “anti-patterns” which are “bad” solutions to a problem. queerness in itself is an anti-pattern against the hegemony of traditional heteronormative thought. this project explores queerness in its fight against tradition, praising the “bad” solutions, and rebelling against a heteronormative utopia.
