new york is a lot of things. and one of those things is the subject of way too much art. like, we get it, it’s better than LA. there are seasons and there’s “reliable” transit. wayooo! but that’s not the real new york because the real new york isn’t real at all. it’s all just stories made up by different people perceiving different things at different moments in time. and that’s exactly why so many people will continue making more unnecessary art about new york. anyway, this is our offering to the altar of new york art.
